As part of IBM’s effort to modernize the Security Intelligence platform—a global content hub for cybersecurity professionals—my team and I were tasked with refreshing the site to drive engagement and improve the user experience.
Design
After reviewing key UX research and behavioral data, I partnered with a UX designer to develop the foundational framework and then led the visual redesign. I created a modern, clean aesthetic that prioritized clarity, hierarchy, and accessibility. By incorporating principles of user-centered design, I optimized layouts for scannability, reduced visual noise, and collaborated closely with developers to strengthen interactive UI components.
Accessibility
I also advocated for accessibility standards throughout, ensuring type contrast, structure, and motion were inclusive and met compliance guidelines. The design aimed to build trust and emotional resonance with our audience—key in a high-stakes industry like cybersecurity.
